The New Aliens Release Their Debut Album “Sense”

August 21, 2020 – The New Aliens – an alternative rock band based in Buffalo, NY – has released their debut album “Sense”, which is available on all the major digital streaming platforms and can now be listened to around the world.

‘Alternative’ is an apt description of the group, because their ultimate aim is to offer music that is alternative to the modern norm and is completely their own. The band consists of two twin brothers Jacob and Zach Jurewicz, who have been lifelong music collaborators and are both avid fans of creative, album-oriented music. They have a wide range of musical influences; a short list of bands/artists includes R.E.M., Neil Young, Courtney Barnett, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Talk Talk, Radiohead, Wilco and Tom Waits.

The twins’ personalities are laid bare on this album, as they both know well that music is one of the most effective ways to convey a message. And their message needs to be heard.

The New Aliens Announce Upcoming Debut Release

Wednesday May 6 – As seen on Facebook [slightly edited]:

Zach Jurewicz (drums, vocals) and Jake Jurewicz (guitars, vocals) are the two members of The New Aliens – a brand new alternative band!

What’s even more exciting is that their new album Sense is going to be released this summer!

Recorded entirely in the band’s basement, Sense is a full-length 12-track album that captures a mature “sense” of creativity and purpose. The album material ranges from energetic, up-tempo rockers to somber ballads, to creative instrumental interludes. The song lyrics read like poems, ranging in nature from vitriolic and witty to unabashedly personal and compassionate.
